Use Almond Oil for Aging/Dry Skin0 comments

oliveoilAs age increases one of the most common problems that we face is the dehydration of the skin. This happens because the blood circulation in the body is reduced. As we grow old the collagen level in the skin starts decreasing and the skin also starts to loose its elasticity. There are times that aging can lead to the breakage of blood vessels and also lead to a decrease in the hormone production in the body.

One of the prime reasons for wrinkles appearing on the skin has been attributed to the dry skin. It has been proven that wrinkles are more readily visible on the dry skin as contrary to the oily or combination skin. An ideal product will be a product that will help to erase the fine lines from the skin. A good product is that, which can help in making the skin smooth and keeping it elastic. Almond oil has been known for its benefits in all these areas.

Almond oil effectively eliminates the impurities from the skin and also helps in removing the dead cells as well. It leaves the skin soft, renewed and radiant. The oil helps in the refining the structure and also stimulates in the skin renewal. It oil has some very good properties it also gives a very good complexion to the skin and is an excellent source of anti aging properties

Almond oil has shown various benefits for the aging skin. This oil helps in healing and moisturizing the dry skin. This is an excellent moisturizer for the dry and sensitive skin and is known to stop premature aging. The oil is also a rich source of Vitamins like A and E.

The oil is known for its properties to reduce friction and make the skin appear smoother, the sweet almond oil in aromatherapy has been used as a skin softener, this just has to be massaged on the skin and kept for some time on it.

Almond oil is one of the least greasy oils, it can soak in easily into the skin and it usually does not leave a residue behind. It is pale yellow nut oil that is derived from the almond kernels. It is available in the light to medium weight consistency. Almond oil also contains a variety of vitamins like B1, B6 ad B2.

There are various ways to use almond oil on the skin to successfully eliminate the wrinkles. Melt some almond oil and lanolin over low heat. Keep stirring it continuously so that it does not get burn. After this add water to this mixture as this will also cool quickly.

It is believed that the mere aroma of the chamomile is believed to be very soothing and stress relieving qualities. It has been proven that stress can have adverse effect on the skin as well. The aging sign sets in faster in the tired skin. Then you can add some cod liver oil to the mixture and keep it in bottle and use it regularly on the affected area.

Almond oil is very effective in removing the traces of make up from the skin; it can also be used to massage the arms and legs as well. Rub some oil on the area and massage it effectively on the area. This has to be done once a week.

There are a few precautions that need to be kept in mind when buying almond oil. Remember to buy the oil, which comes in a dark colored glass, as it will be the least damaged by sunlight. Always remember to store oil in a cool and dark place and always replace it after a year of packing. Ayurveda also believes that almond oil has powers to improve you intellectually as well.
