Mobile service provider Sprint announced that it is making arrangements for the availability of the highly projected Palm Pre phone. The phone will be launched in USA markets solely with Sprint and would be available from June 6th. The tag price would be $199.99 after signing a two year agreement contract, following a @100 mail-in discount.

The wireless operator Sprint is ensuring availability of the handset in Sprint’s stores. Other purchase points would be Radio Shack, Best Buy and selected Wal-Mart stores. Palm Pre will also be available on Sprint website. The Palm Pre runs on Palm Web-OS platform which collates various types of information from any location.
