Phobias are fears that are considered to be irrational or excessive. Various kinds of phobias exist in the world today and different people suffer from different kinds of phobias. People suffering from any of the phobias do not understand and realize that their fright is irrational. Spatial Phobia

This kind of phobia involves the amount of space in which the person is. For instance, a person may have the fear of heights, fear of open spaces or fear of closed spaces.

Overcoming Phobias

One of the greatest techniques of overcoming phobias is Positive Reinforcement. This technique involves making the person observe and imitate others facing such a situation. For instance, if a person is scared of dogs, he should be made to observe others grooming, cuddling or playing with dogs. This is a great way of curing phobias.
