Train your child to drive responsibly
A number or road accidents take place everyday due to rash and irresponsible driving.
Still, there are many people who drive carelessly staking not only their own lives but even the lives of many other people who are either driving vehicles or are pedestrians walking on footpaths at the same time.
Therefore it is not only your responsibility to drive safely considering the importance of your as well as other people’s life but you should also impart the same knowledge to your child while honing his driving skills.
Make sure, when your child takes the vehicle on road, he should comply with all the traffic norms and safety measures and must drive with responsibility.
Responsible drivers never violate traffic rules
If your child drives recklessly then there are fair chances that he would violate traffic rules.
If his fault is minor then he would simply be fined by the traffic police and if he has done big blunder then he might sustain grave injuries in an accident.
Hence, warn your child not to avoid any traffic rules and drive as carefully as he can.
Drive at controllable speed
If your child is fond of driving at high speed but fail to control the vehicle and get nervous then ask him to drive at such speed which is manageable and controllable.
Remember that driving at high speed in highway and losing control can cause serious accident and hence it is safer to drive at medium speed.
Let the vehicle may not get any scratch or dent due to rash driving. If your child won’t drive responsibly then very soon the beautiful and shining vehicle would have scratches and dents at various places.
It happens when your child might not take proper care while backing the vehicle or while parking it between the two vehicles.
Similarly, while driving the care in narrow streets, you child should be careful that the vehicle might not get scratched with any other vehicles.
Proper maintenance of the vehicle
Properly maintained vehicle never gives trouble to a driver. Tell this concept to your child and ask him to be alert that the vehicle should be sent for regular and timely maintenance to the workshop.
This is important because after certain time the vehicle’s performance reduces because it requires either repairing of some parts or replacement of oils, oil filters and other parts at regular interval.
