The white of the egg is used in many facial masks for the protein it provides the skin. But did you know the egg white can also help treat wrinkles by tightening the skin?Take an egg white and beat it well. Add a little honey to the egg white to get rid of the foul smell.
Take an application brush and apply the egg white mixture all over the face and neck. Take care to apply the egg mask evenly and in a thin layer. Leave the mask to dry. Wash off using lukewarm water. Apply a Vitamin E based cream after removing the egg mask. Egg mask is the best home remedy for getting rid of wrinkles. However, it should not be used more than two times a week or it will cause extreme dryness of the facial skin.
2. Treatment of Wrinkles using Avocado
Avocado and its extracts are used in many beauty products. Avocado is excellent nourisher for both the skin as well as hair. However, ripe avocado fruit can also be used to reduce wrinkles and fine lines caused due to age, sun or pollution. Take two ripe avocado fruits and mash them well after de-seeding. Mix a little water to the pulp of avocado and apply it evenly on the face and neck taking care not to cover the eyes.
Take two thin cucumber slices and place them over each eye. Lie down on a bed or sit on a reclining chair and leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes. After the given time remove the cucumber slices from your eyes and wash off the avocado mask with cold water.Use the avocado mask thrice a week to see huge improvement in your wrinkles in two weeks’ time.
3. Treatment of Wrinkles using Tomato Pulp
Take a ripe tomato and peel its skin. De-seed the tomato and mash the pulp. Add a little tomato juice to the pulp if it is too thick. Apply this pulp on your face and neck carefully avoiding the eyes. Leave on the mask for twenty minutes and wash off with cold water.
Tomato has anti-oxidant properties which help fight the wrinkle causing free-radicals present in the atmosphere. Perform this treatment every day to avoid onset of wrinkles. If you already have wrinkles then apply tomato pulp twice a day to get rid of them completely.
4. Treatment of Wrinkles using Olive Oil
Warm about a tablespoon of olive oil and mix half a teaspoon of wheat germ oil in it. Mix the two oils well and massage your face and neck with this mixture. Massage for 10-15 minutes till your skin absorbs the oil. You will instantly notice a difference in your skin. Not only will it be smooth but the fines lines and wrinkles would have also reduced considerably.
5. Treatment of Wrinkles using Papaya and banana Face Mask
Take three pieces of ripe papaya and mash them well. Mix a ripe and mashed banana with the papaya. If the resulting mixture is too thick then add a little Vitamin E oil to it. Apply this fruit mask on your face and neck. Leave on the mask for 15-20 minutes and wash off using cold water. Both papaya and banana help treat wrinkles when eaten or if applied to the skin directly.
