    Tips To Take Care Of Your Body And Mind

    In this fast paced life, have you ever given your health a thought? You may plan about business meetings, career moves, and relationship issues but without good health on your side, you will never be able to do well in any of these areas.

    Given below are some tips to take care of your body and mind.

    Always set a fix time for sleeping and getting up and always adhere to it. Sleeping at a proper time and getting up early will save your body from a lot of fatigue. There are occasions when you are partying or are outside with friends, when you are attracted to junk food. At these times, you can eat in moderation, just do not go overboard. At other times, eat healthy foods – fruits, vegetables, salads should be a must in your everyday diet. Do not forget to drink 7-8 glasses of water every day.

    Never forget to allot time for exercise from your busy schedule. 30-45 minutes of exercise will help you lead a long, healthy and productive life. Cardio exercises and yoga will benefit you a lot. Keeping yourself fit will protect you from many diseases.

    Avoid excess of alcohol, caffeine and tea. Smoking tobacco is most hazardous habit you will ever have. It is carcinogenic and it releases free radicals in your body, which cause harm to the cells of your body. Regard every part and organ of your body as an individual. It needs to be taken care of and not taken for granted.

    Do not forget your mind. Mental stress is the cause of many diseases. Practicing meditation, yoga in the morning will help you achieve peace at mental level. Stop brooding about things that are not according to your wish. Be grateful for everything you have in your life. Learn from the past, hope good for the future and work hard in your present. This mindset will help you to avoid many unnecessary stresses.

    Indulge in some good hobbies that you like, e.g. listening music, reading a good book, swimming, learning any musical instrument, dancing etc. These are great stress busters. Keeping few hours aside per week for you will keep your mind and body healthy.
