glowingskinDifferent age groups have different types of skin for example teenagers have soft and smooth skin and they do not require much care as required for middle aged people. And utmost care is required for aged people because they need to take care of wrinkles and loosening of skin. Following are some basic tips to get the best out of your skin suitable according to the age group.

Teenagers (20’s)

Protect your skin from sun by applying as much sun screen as you can. Because sun causes wrinkles and age spots which cannot be removed until proper treatment is done.

Use a good cleanser suiting your skin type and eye cream also because stress and tension may give rise to under eye dark circles.

Use concealer to hide the dark circles under your eyes.

Use a moisturizer and stick foundation matching to your skin tone and to cover your blemishes while starting up with make up.

Drink lot of water to avoid pimples, acne or any skin infection.

Quit smoking immediately. As the fine lines around mouth becomes prominent due to smoking. And mainly smoking reduces oxygen content of skin which gives result to premature ageing.

Do not forget to exercise regularly to keep yourself as well as your skin fresh and fit.

Women (30’s)

Use two colors of blushes, the one which blends with your skin tone and the brighter tone to lift your face up.

Always apply a neutral shade of lip color that can be applied anywhere without looking into the mirror.

Have red, yellow, and orange fruits and vegetables that contain caretenoids useful to reduce sunburns.

Use almond oil as an after shower, instead of after shower moisturizer, to leave your skin soft and supple.

Exfoliation is very important for the people at this age, thus exfoliate at least twice a week. Get rid of the top layer of your skin by exfoliation, revealing the new skin underneath.

Add vitamins to your diet to repair your skin by stabilizing collagen and keep your skin moist.

Women (40’s)

Don’t think that your skin cannot be damaged by sun at this age, use sun screen regularly.

Apply foundation making dots all over the face to cover redness, blemishes and to even your skin tone.

Use eye liner and eye mascara to define your eyes.

Get your hair colored as it will brighten up your skin and also cover your grey hair.

Before going to sleep apply Vaseline or moisturizer on your hands to softening of your hands.

Facials are must at this age to moisturize and nourish the skin so that the skin does not look dull.

Start using anti wrinkle cream to fight from wrinkles.

Take proper healthy diet with lots of fruits and vegetables, and plenty of water intakes to keep your skin in good shape.

Skin becomes dry and dull and visibility of wrinkles starts because of menopause. You need to take care of your skin in these crucial years.

Women (50’s)

Use more moisturizer along with extra rich formula on your skin; it will make your skin look fresher and the wrinkles less noticeable.

Use creamy foundation with moisturizing ingredients as the base for make-up. Or you can apply a thin layer of moisturizer before you apply foundation on the skin.

Use a lip liner before applying the lipstick and eye liner to define your lips and eyes.

Apply a thin layer of moisturizer over the skin during day time and apply a heavy layer of moisturizer at the night so that the nutrition’s will be able to sink in and heal up your skin while sleeping.

Weight fluctuations can be easily noticed as your skin is greatly stretched out.
