Three Mouthwatering Preparations Of Fried Rice
Rice is our staple food. Here are recipes of few types of rice which are tasty and you need nothing as side dish.
Peas Fried Rice:
Ingredients:
• 100 grams Basmati rice
• 1 cup peas
• ½ inch cinnamon
• 2-3 cardamom
• Bay leaf
• Butter oil
• Sugar
• Salt
• Black pepper
Preparation:
Heat butter oil in a container. Add bay leaf, cinnamon and cardamom in the oil. Let it pop. Then add green peas in the oil. Sprinkle salt. Stir and fry little bit. Then add the rice. Add sugar and mix every thing well. Now pour water in such amount that rice and peas will get tender and will soak the water. Cook the rice keeping the lid on. Serve hot.
Prawn Fried Rice:
Ingredients:
• 250 grams shrimp
• 200 grams Basmati rice
• Onion
• Green chili
• Capsicum
• 1 potato
• Cooking oil
Preparation:
Shell the shrimp and wash them properly. Finely chop onion, capsicum and green chili. Peel the potato and cut them into juliennes. Heat water and make the rice. Heat oil and fry potato. Remove them aside. In the remaining oil fry shrimp and onion. Do not forget to sprinkle salt in the time of frying both potato and prawn.
When the shrimp are well fried add fried potato and chopped capsicum in it. Sprinkle salt to taste. Stir continuously to mix everything well. Remove it from heat. Chop 1 green chili. Remove its seed. Sprinkle the chopped chili over the rice and keep the lid on for sometimes. The smell of chili will make it more appetizing. Serve the rice hot.
Carrot Rice:
Ingredients:
• 1 large carrot
• 100 grams Basmati rice
• Nutmeg
• ½ inch cinnamon
• Salt
• Sugar
• Butter oil
• Black pepper powder
Preparation:
Peel and grate one large carrot. Make the rice. Heat butter oil in a pan. Add grated carrot in it. Stir and fry them lightly. Then add the rice. Add salt and little bit sugar in it. Mix everything well. Now grate 1/4 nutmeg and ¼ inch cinnamon powder over the rice. At last sprinkle 1 teaspoon black pepper powder. Mix everything and keep the lid on to mix the aroma with the rice. Now your yummy orange colored carrot juice is ready. Serve this nutritious rice hot.
