Three Is a Crowed
Tiger Woods is more of a word now than a name. After his personal life was laid out in the open for the rest of the world to watch, judge or simply ridicule, ‘Tiger Woods’ was synonym to cheating, fraud and infidelity redefined. However, it does ask you to give your own relationship a through-check and what could possibly break it. With the growing number of extra-marital cases taking shape in the society today, what is about the trend that allows it to seep into a relationship?
Each of us likes to believe that ours is a match made in heaven and nothing can possibly break it. This might be a nice dream to have, however, always remember you’ll never know what might turn-up. Your husband might be a loving man, who leaves for work with a kiss planted on your forehead and returns back with an armful of your favorite flowers. But there are chances, that this family man is actually leading a double life elsewhere. You’ll never know, that the father of your kids, who means the world to you is actually cheating on you.
There are various factors that give way to an extra-marital affair. The reason could range from emotional support, to sexual bliss, to financial gains. If you find yourselves succumbed in to such a situation, ask yourself if it is worth at all? While your ‘other’ relationship might just be a pure emotional attachment, it has no place in your married world. Marriage is meant for two people, any third person is a crowed and a unwanted one too. The ‘other’ man or woman might be just the soul-mate you are looking for, but is he/she worth risking your marriage? Balancing a spouse and a lover is an impossible situation and cannot be a fair one, you have to let one go.
Make sure you take complete responsibility of your actions and reactions. You should be sure of what you want, as it is not just you but also your spouse and family you will be putting through a lot. No marriage is a perfect one, but there are ways to make it work nevertheless. Nothing is more blissful then a simple relationship which satisfies all your needs. Your spouse might not be your soul-mate, but it is worth a try to give your marriage all the chances you can.
