Cottage cheese is a great source of calcium too. Calcium not only important for building strong bones, it also maintains normal blood pressure level. Seventy grams of calcium everyday fulfills your daily need of calcium of your body. Here is a very easy preparation of cottage cheese.
Ingredients:
• 300 grams cottage cheese
• 2 carrots
• 10-12 French beans
• 1 large capsicums
• 2 onions
• 10-12 cloves of garlic
• Salt
• Oil
• Butter
• Black pepper powder
Preparation:
Cut cottage cheese into small cubes and soak them into salty warm water. This treatment saves cottage cheese from breaking away. After 30 minutes, drain the water and store it. Keep cottage cheese separately in another container. Then cut carrots into small cubes. Cut French beans into small pieces. Cut an onion in such a way that you get small flakes of onion. Cut capsicum into small cubes. Another onion along with garlic should be grinded into small paste.
Preparation:
Heat little amount of oil in a pan. Add carrots, beans, onion flakes and capsicum. Stir continuously and remove them from the pan when they are lightly fried and tender. Again add oil and fry garlic and onion paste. When they are well fried add cottage cheese. Stir and then add a cup of water that has been stored and has been used earlier for cheese soaking purpose. Cottage cheese does not take much time to get boiled. When the gravy is almost made add the fried vegetables. Then add a tablespoon of butter and stir well to mix everything. Before removing it from heat sprinkle freshly ground black pepper powder.
