Sensitive Skin
Sensitive skin is prone to a hoard of problems; it might react and get irritated with even a slight metal earring or a chain. This type of skin is very delicate and it is more prone to allergic reactions than any other type of skin.

To test that whether a product will suit you or not, follow these simple instructions. Never use the mask directly on the face, always do a patch test first. Use the mask on the back of the ears and keep it for 10 minutes and if there is no reaction on the skin then it is safe for you to use.
One of the easiest way out is to try some homemade masks specially for the sensitive skin. They are skin friendly and can be easily made in your kitchen and applied regularly. If you want to be extra cautious then you can do a patch test with these masks as well.
Honey is one of the most beneficial ingredients in our kitchen and it suits almost all skin types. Mix some carrot juice with honey and apply it on the face. Leave the paste for about 10 minutes and then rinse it off. The carrot has vitamin A in it, which helps in improving the skin and will give it a healthy glow. This can also be called a rejuvenating mask for the skin.
Coconut milk can also be a very effective in treating sensitive skin. Use coconut milk along with some lemon juice and then keep it applied on the face for about 10 minutes. This helps in cleansing the face as in removing the impurities and does not have any harsh ingredient that can irritate the skin.
A moisturizing exfoliation facemask is very beneficial for the sensitive skin, as it does not have any harsh components in it. Mix around 1/3 cup of oatmeal with ½ cup of hot water. Keep this aside to cool. In the meanwhile blend a tablespoon each of honey and yogurt along with one egg white in a mixer. Combine both the ingredients and apply it on the face. Let it stand for fifteen minutes and then wash it with warm water.
Freshly made apple juice can help your skin to get an instant glow, you can use this everyday. Sensitive skin can also be treated with a mixture of cucumber juice and yogurt. This can be made into a paste and then applied as a facemask. It helps in cleaning the face and the pores as well.
You can also make a cleansing mask at home with the help of egg yolk and avocado. Beat the egg yolk until it is frothy. Add around ½ cup milk and add a mashed avocado to it. Mix all the ingredients together and get the consistency of lotion. Clean your face with this with the help of a cotton ball.
If your skin in dull in appearance, then it is might be because of the dead skin accumulating on the surface of the skin. One of the best ways to get rid of it is to dull skin is to use a mixture of watermelon juice and lemon juice, which gently helps in removing the impurities.
The dead skin can be removed from the skin by gently exfoliating it. This can be done with the help of a body scrub of salt or sugar. Take ¼ the cup of sugar or salt in a bowl and pour olive oil in it till it covers either of the ingredients. Then make a paste of the mixture and apply it on the body and rinse it through. The olive oil keeps the skin moisturized and the sugar and salt are gentle scrubbing agents that exfoliate the skin.
Aloe Vera suits almost every skin type and sensitive skin is no different, it helps in soothing red, irritated and blotchy skin. This helps in keeping the skin moisturized and supple. A concoction of almond oil and lavender oil can be applied twice a day on the face, as it is the mildest form.
Banana pulp can be a very useful ingredient in treating anti aging treatments. This is applied on the whole body, it helps to make the skin firmer and gives it a glow as well.
