This should be done for about three to four minutes.
Scrubbing: You should scrub your scalp once a week. This will remove the dead skin cells from the scalp and will make your scalp healthy. You can use any exfoliating scrub. There is nothing special for hair. You can use the scrubs that are for face.
Avoid Drying: Dry scalp is a problem. So you should avoid washing your hair with hot water as it leads to dry scalp. It takes out the excessive oils from the scalp. You can use conditioner as it helps in replenishing moisture to the scalp. Also, excessive blow drying should be avoided.
Avoid Dandruff: This is also one other hurdle for healthy scalp. Dandruff will have to be controlled if you want to have healthy scalp. There are many ways with which you can control dandruff like you can use henna, apply curd to scalp for half an hour before washing, add baking soda to your shampoo, massage your scalp with apple cider vinegar, and shampoo your hair with two crushed aspirins in it. You should wash your combs regularly so that the dandruff does not relapse.
