    Sassy Water: Benefits And Recipe

    The credit for Sassy water recipe goes to Cynthia Sass. The water contains ingredients all of which are known to help reduce fat from around the belly and thighs. In a matter of four days one can lose five inches and seven pounds on Sassy water diet.

    Sassy water does not come packaged in bottles. It can be made at home and easily with the help of few ingredients which are found in every kitchen. To prepare Sassy water you will need fresh ginger, fresh mint leaves, one cucumber, one lemon and of course 8.5 cups of water. Use only filtered water. You can also use packaged drinking water in case you do not have filtered water at home.

    Wash lemon properly. Cut it in two halves and remove the seeds. Now thinly slice the two halves and drop them in the pitcher with water. Do not peel the lemon nor squeeze its juice in water.

    Take one cucumber and peel it properly. Cut it in thin slices or grate it and add to water.

    Take 8-12 mint leaves and wash them properly removing all the dirt. Put the leaves in the water.

    Peel the skin of a medium sized ginger and grate it. This should give you one teaspoon of ginger. Dry ginger and powdered ginger is not recommended. Add the grated ginger to water.

    Now mix all the ingredients well and put the pitcher in refrigerator for night. Next day drink only chilled Sassy water whenever you feel thirsty. You will have to prepare a fresh pitcher of Sassy water every night for the next four days. You have to continue with drinking Sassy water for four days at least if you wish to see results.

    Some people prefer straining Sassy water before drinking it. Filtering the water does not let the ingredients come in your drink.

    Water contains zero calories and drinking eight glasses of water every day is known to help with weight loss. By adding ginger, mint, cucumber and lemon to your water you fasten the process of losing weight as all the ingredients have fat burning properties. They also provide the body with much needed minerals that are beneficial during weight loss.

    Once you get hooked on to the taste of Sassy water you will not be ready to give up on it after four days.
