    Plum and Almond Crumble Cake

    Plum and Almond Crumble CakeDo you have party in your house and you are planning to make a cake by yourself but you haven’t tried a cake yet. So, you need not to worry if you are a beginner as following is a mentioned recipe which is easy to prepare and tasty too. Also, you can rock the party with the delicious cake made by you and get appreciation from everyone. Following are the tips to make a plum and almond crumble cake. So, you can invite the guests without any hesitation and enjoy with wonderful cake. Most important, as the cake is made up of almonds and plums so, it will be also a healthy option for health conscious persons.

    Total Servings- 12

    Ingredients- For making cake, you have to need butter (125 g), Eggs (3), Brown sugar (200g), grounded cinnamon (1 tablespoon), flaked almonds (35 g),extra brown sugar (2 tablespoon), sour cream (85 g), self-raising flour (40g), plain flour (75 g),almond meal (55g), extra plain flour (50 g), firm ripe amber jewel plums (6 (stoned and cut in wedges), extra butter (40 g (chopped) and crème fraiche (for serving).

    How to Prepare- First thing you have to do is to preheat the oven to about180 degree C. Now, take a cake pan, before taking pan think the diameter of base of the pan should be 20 cm. Grease the butter to the base and to all the sides of the pan. Now, take a medium sized bowl and then take electric mixer and with the help of this beat butter, sugar, cinnamon. Do this until it becomes pale and creamy.

    Now, add eggs to this and beat it well. Do the process with egg but take one at one time. Beat the all well until all ingredients mix together well. Leave it for some time and now add almond meals, sour creams and combined flour in alternating batches. Now, in a pan pour the mixture and flatten the surface. Now, put a layer of plums over the base.

    In another medium sized bowl, add extra flour and sugar. Also, add extra butter and mix either with the help of a beater or with your fingertips to rub the mixture. Then it will look like coarse breadcrumbs. Now, stir it for some time. Arrange other layers of plums over it. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    Now, remove the seeds from the plums and leave it for 30 minutes to make it cool. Place in fridge for 15 minutes. Cut in widges and you can serve it with creme fraiche.
