beautiful-faceYou must have read in various advertisements about the products that offer the correct pH Balance for your skin making it smooth. pH is the measure of the acidity of the solution or in this case the acidity. There are times when there is a increase or decrease in the level of this component in the body. There are various ways through which it can be balanced. A good pH balancer helps in maintaining the correct balance that will make the skin healthier.

In this article we explore some pH balancers that can be at home. pH balance is important in every aspect of your lives. Have you ever wondered that what causes odor in the underarms and the feet, you would be surprised that it is the imbalance in your pH balance that gives that foul smell. The best balancer that you can make for such problems is mixing eight ounces of baking soda with two tablespoon of cornstarch; apply it on the affected area regularly.

An after cleansing pH balancer is one of the best ways to rinse the face after following a good cleaning regime.  Combining three cups of distilled watrer can make this pH balancer, 1/3 cup of cider vinegar and any essential oil that you like can make this. Pour this in a container and use it with a cotton ball to restore the skin pH balance.

Mixing three cups of distilled water, 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar and keeping it in a decanter can easily make one of the most basic balancer. You can just keep it in the bathroom and use it regularly.

If you want some variation in the basic pH balancer then you can use herb infusion in the distilled water instead of the plain distilled water that has been used in the basic balancer. If you have oily skin then these essential oil or infusions in the water will help to get rid of the excessive oil on your skin. These include calendula, germanium, horsetail herb, sage and yarrow.

If you have dry and sensitive skin then you have to use oils and infusions that will help you to keep the skin moisturized and has to be mild to avoid any reactions to the skin. These include borage, cornflower, houseleek, marsh mallow, lady’s mantle, parsley, sorrel and sweet violet.

You can use any oil according to your skin type and make a basic balancer. This is an excellent pH balancer and you can use it everyday after cleaning your face with a cotton ball.

If you have acne prone skin then you might have an imbalance in your pH balance in the body. Here are some small concoctions that can help in retaining that much needed balance. You can make a face pack by mixing bran, baking soda and water. Make these ingredients into a paste and apply this on the face. Let it stay for about 15 minutes and then rinse it off with a solution of cider vinegar mixed with water. The ratio has to be 1:8.

Garlic can also be a very effective anti oxidant. You have to peel around eight cloves of garlic and mash it. Then apply it on the face. Let it stay for about 15 minutes and then wash it with a warm towel. The final rinse can be made with vinegar, which is an excellent pH balancer.

You can make some toners as well that can help in retaining the pH balance of the skin this includes the pulp or juice of cucumber, which helps to balance the oil in the body.

An egg white toner is very effective for oily skin. You just have to apply raw eggs on the skin and leave it for about 15 minutes and then rinse it off with water. One has to remember that before applying the eggs the face has to be cleaned preferably with a natural cleanser.
