Here are some tips on how to maintain good oral dental care.
Brushing tips
Your brushing technique should be correct. Brush thoroughly and gently at least twice a day with a soft synthetic bristle tooth brush. Your brush should be of proper size. Place the brush at 45 degree angle brush your teeth.
Move the brush up and down on your teeth. Clean your teeth changing the position of the brush. You must brush your teeth before going to bed.
Replace your tooth brush every three months if the bristles begin to look turn out.
Flossing Tips
Use dental floss to clean between teeth daily to remove food debris and plaque from areas your tooth brush can’t reach.
Use mouth wash
After brushing your teeth use an anti-septic mouth wash like listirin which will guard you against bacterial plaque, bad breadth, and tooth decay.
Eat healthy food
Eat balanced diet to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Food which contain too much sugar and starch like chocolate, candy and junk food are harmful for your teeth. It causes tooth decay. Avoid snacking between meals. It will farther lead to tooth decay.
Avoid soft drinks
Cold drinks and lemonade like cola, orange etc, damage our teeth because they contain organic acid which harms the tooth calcium.
Chewing
To make your teeth strong and healthy, using sugar free gum is a good exercise. It helps to avoid bad breadth also.
Quit smoking
Along with bad breath smoking stains our teeth and also reduces blood supply to the gums, resulting in serious gum problem.
Dental check up
Visit your dentist on regular basis at least twice a year for a professional cleaning and examination so that if any dental problem occurs, it can be recognized at an early stage.
