Natural Treatment for Constipation
Constipation: Constipation occurs when there is disturbance in the digestive tract and there is some trouble in your bowel movements. It is condition when you face difficulty in passing stool. Constipation is a disease which can cause other diseases such as high blood pressure, appendicitis, cataract, rheumatism, cancer and many others. Some of the reasons of constipation are not properly chewed food, insufficient intake of water, eating junk foods and non-vegetarian foods in excess.
Some of the useful home remedies for constipation are mentioned below:
Pear: One of the very good home remedy for constipation is pear. Patients suffering with severe constipation should take juice of pear. Make a habit of having pear in breakfast or after dinner.
Bael: Ripe Bael is considered as the best laxative. Take about 60 grams of this fruit before dinner. It is very helpful in cleaning and toning up the intestines. If taken for about two-three months, it can remove accumulated faecal matter.
Warm Milk: Another natural home remedy for treating constipation is to take a glass of warm water before hitting the bed. You can also add two teaspoons of castor oil in it, in case you are suffering from severe constipation.
Fruits: Fruits have proved to be very beneficial for removing constipation. It includes guava, papaya, orange, figs and others. Guava when taken with seeds can prove to be beneficial because it will provide roughage. One or two oranges when taken before going to sleep can also be very helpful.
Spinach: Spinach is a wonderful source for removing constipation. Take about 100ml of spinach juice. Mix it with equal quantity of water. Drink this mixture twice a day. This will cure constipation and will also help in regeneration and reconstruction of intestinal tract.
Lemon: Squeeze a lemon in a glass of water. And drink it two or three times a day. This will ease constipation.
Cassia Pulp: Take 50gms of cassia pulp and soak in water overnight. In morning, take them with some water. This is another effective treatment for constipation.
Honey: Take a spoon of honey and add it in a glass of warm milk. Drink this milk twice a day. You can also add an extra teaspoon of sugar as an alternative to honey.
