Middle Age Blues
Women are known as home makers. Women may work and be on the go all day but she takes care of the home and family with no complaints. Some women give up their carreers just to bring up the kids and watch them grow. They are there for them every step of the way.
But as the woman grows the children grow as well. Before you know it the kids are no longer kids they are teenagers and want their independence. They do not want you hovering around them and they would rather hang out with their friends.
By this time the mum is so used to being busy with the kids that she is now left with so much time that she starts developing middle age blues. This usually can start cropping up after the age of thirty five and the woman begins to wonder where her life has gone and ponders over why she has not done anything with it.
Most of the time may have been spent in looking after the family. A woman may not pay attention to her attire or her physical beauty and then begins to look at herself in a way that she feels useless and un cared for. Do not fret. It is never too late.
Since you do not need to be around the kids too much you can get yourself together. You can easily deal with these middle age blues. Join a gym or start walking. Exercising is the best and fastest way to making friends and meeting people. Start pampering yourself and getting yourself a massage at a spa and spend time at the salon to beautify yourself. Do your nails and hair. Get yourself a new image and you will begin to feel better about yourself.
The age of thirty five and forty are not old; lots more can be done. Pick up the pieces and start again. Start spending more time with your spouse and go on short vacations. If getting a job seems difficult see what you are good at and start doing some voluntary work. You will feel wonderful again and the middle age blue that you were suffering from will fade away.
