Mandy Moore On Staying Fit: ‘I’m Not A Swizzle Stick!’
Mandy Moore may be one of Hollywood’s most beautiful stars, but the newlywed told People on Thursday that she’s proud of presenting “something different” than red-carpet glamour.
“I can’t roll out of bed and look that way,” the singer-actress told the mag. “You have professionals who make you look a certain way. I’m very comfortable with the way that I look, but it’s not fair for women to use someone or something as a bar. It’s not reality, for anyone. I am happy to be myself and represent something different for women.”
And the star, whose new album, “Amanda Leigh,” is due in stores next week, said she doesn’t skimp on the sweets to stay thin.
“If I really want something, I don’t feel like it’s worth it to deprive myself,” she said, adding that she doesn’t worry about her weight.
