There are times that just washing the face do not give us the desired results that we were hoping for. In this article we suggest a few homemade recipes that will not only help you to get rid of all the traces of make up but also helps in moisturizing the skin.

There are bleaching agents in the curd that not only cleans the skin but also improve the complexion of the skin. You can also dip a cotton ball into raw milk and wipe your face with that. It will help you to remove all traces of makeup and dirt as well from the skin.

You can also mix a tablespoon of raw milk with a pinch of turmeric and a few drops of lemon juice in it. Apply this mixture on the face and the neck or any other place where the make up has to be removed. Leave it on the skin for some time and then wash it off. This helps in removing the traces of make up and lemon and turmeric help in also removing the blemishes from the skin.

Mix around two teaspoon of gram flour and add a few drops of lemon juice to it. Add one teaspoon of yogurt in it. Make a paste of this mixture and apply it on the face. When it is a little dried, take it out by rubbing the skin upwards. Remember that do not let the paste dry up completely. This not only helps in removing excessive make up but is useful in removing dirt and facial hair as well.

If gram flour is not available, then just take some wheat flour and add raw milk to it. Apply on the skin and wash it off as a scrubber with upward direction. This also helps in making the skin smooth and helps it to glow as well.

One of the best concoctions for the oily skin is to apply honey on the face by just adding one teaspoon of rose water in it.
