Microwave
Cooking without oil is possible in microwave. Microwave cooks food faster than any other method of cooking and retains all the nutrients.
Marinating
It tenderizes the food. It is a good way to prepare dishes in grill and broilers.
Roasting
Vegetables and chicken etc. without skin can be cooked over direct heat without using oil. The juice present within the food helps it to cook. To seal moisture foil wrap can be used.
Steaming
It’s a healthy way to cook vegetables and different dishes. In this process a pot or stand is placed inside another pot adding water. Water level should be such that there is no contact between food and the water. The hot steam rising from the water cooks the food. It is a very good method of cooking as no nutrients are lost.
Grilling
Food is cooked in an open place using charcoal heat or in built grills of a stove
