Losing weight can seem to be a punishment for those who love to eat and live to eat. People have the misconception that in order to lose weight they will have to starve themselves which is certainly not true. Eating less and starving can actually lead to weight gain as the body doesn’t get any nutrition and calories and it tends to put on weight.
Starvation harms the body and leads to mental as well as physical weakness which is certainly not welcome for anyone. When you starve your body, the body tends to eat itself up to survive which in turn lead to the loss of the vital nutrients and vitamins. When you can easily lose eight by eating well and eating healthy then why should you even think of starving? Here is how can lose those extra pounds without starving yourself.
Plan a balanced diet for yourself. Plan out a diet which contains all the essential vitamins, minerals, nutrients which your body needs to survive. Do not only concentrate on any one of the nutrient but divide the nutrients in the meals that you take during the entire day.
Eat a minimum of five meals in a day. For reducing weight, your body’s metabolism should be at its peak. To keep the metabolism working, you should eat a minimum of 5 meals in a day. You can start your day with a healthy breakfast and have mini meals in between all the major three meals of the day. Try eating fruits in between or coconut water. Eat in minor quantities but eat every two hours to keep your body’s metabolism working
Avoid fried food but eat more of vegetables. Fried food should be strictly avoided if you have to lose weight. Green vegetables are very important for a well balanced diet and a healthy mind and body. Eat more of whole grain foods rather than white flour.
Avoid juices, drink water. Juices contain more calories than a normal fruit as the quantity of the fruit greatly increases in the juice. Give more preference to water over all other drinks as it also helps to keep the body hydrated.
