Lose Those Extra Pounds After Delivery
The bliss and the happiness have finally dawned upon you. You have all smiles on your face and joy in your heart to see your creation. A baby who has come out of your body is a feeling that you can’t explain but want to refresh by looking at your baby again and again.
At the same time you see some extra flesh around your stomach, hips, buttocks and thighs. The figure conscious you is worried about it as it would spoil everything in your physical personality and you would start looking ugly with those extra pounds around you.
There were days when you laughed at people who could not manage their figure and who looked chubby or fat. Now, its’ your turn to look like one and this feeling is killing you hundred times in a second. To get out of the situation and to give yourself back the similar figure that you had before delivery, follow some simple daily routine.
Start with moderate exercise: Start slowly and gently. But, don’t forget to talk to your physician before starting any exercise. Make sliced sessions of 10-15 minutes daily. Gradually, you can extend your time. You can choose to go on a walk, jog, swim, dance or adopt some prescribed exercise technique.
Breastfeed: The most natural and efficient way to loose that extra weight. Around 300 to 500 calories are burnt and used by your body during breastfeeding. So, stop feeling ashamed off or shy in doing this act. Shed all the myths of figure loss due to it and breastfeed you baby regularly.
Pelvic muscle exercise: Vaginal muscle and the pelvic muscle are the one suffering major impact during delivery. So, put them back in shape after delivery. Tighten your pelvic muscle as if you are trying to stop urinating. Hold it for 5-6 seconds and release it. Do it for 4-6 times. You may try for upto 40 to 60 times a day.
Diet and water: Take balanced nutritious food and drink plenty of water to wash out the wastes and cleanse your body from within.
