Loose Stools or Diarrhea: Causes and Home Remedies

Loose stool is a very frequent disorder; however its commonality does not make it bearable! Regular loose stools can cause stomach pain, itching, burning, and general irritation. Consuming 1 glass of fresh lemon juice 3-5 times daily will destroy the pathogens causing the diarrhea. As a precautionary measure if there is any virus infection, consume 1-2 tablespoons prior to meals.

Take equal amount of white cumin seeds and fennel. Heat this combination and consume about 3 grams of it with water in a period of 3 hours.

Form a paste of lemon together with its seeds and put in some salt to it. Consume 1 teaspoon of this mixture 2-3 times a day. This is an extremely effectual home remedy for loose stools.

The pomegranate has provided evidence that it is also valuable in the healing of diarrhea on the basis of its astringent properties. If the patient builds up weakness due to nonstop and profuse purging, then the patient must repetitively be given about 45 ml of pomegranate juice to sip. This will help in controlling the loose stools.

Carrot soup is one more helpful home remedy for diarrhea. It provides water to fight dehydration, stocks up potassium, sodium, magnesium, phosphorus, sulphur, and calcium, provides pectin and coat the intestine to alleviate inflammation. In addition it also checks the increase of dangerous intestinal bacteria and put a stop to vomiting.
