    Know How To Control Your Temper During Menopause

    menopause2-300x2782Menopause is the transition phase of women’s life that not only brings changes in their reproductive system but also influences their temper and emotions. Mood swing is one of the major changes that women experience while undergoing menopause.

    Experts say that premenopausal women do not usually experience change in their temperament. However, the variations in hormonal production at this point of their life might stir up their anger besides making them feel depressed and influencing their mood.

    Many premonopausal women become highly sensitive to even slightest provocation and lose their temper so easily. Sometimes, they find others’ behaviors intolerable.

    You can control your temper besides reducing stress and mood swings by improving your lifestyle while undergoing premenopausal phase.

    How to control temper?

    Do regular exercises

    Doing regular exercise can be very helpful in relieving your stress and anxiety and controlling your temper during menopause.

    You can also avoid many mental and physical complications of menopause with the help of regular exercise. Do brisk walks thrice a week while undergoing premenopausal phase so as to avoid anger and control your temper and mood swings.

    By stirring up hormones like endorphins the regular exercises such as walking and jogging relieve pain and influence emotions besides boosting levels of neurotransmitter like Serotonin.

    Exercise can also ensure a sound sleep besides maintaining your body weight during premenopausal and menopausal phases.

    Take balanced diet

    You can successfully overcome your depression and anger during menopausal years by having a balanced diet. Diet influences your emotional aspects like temper and anger to a very great extent.

    Take a diet with carbohydrates and a plenty of protein. Prefer Omega-3 fatty acids and also little sugar in your diet. Your diet should also include caffeine. You can get Omega-3 fatty acids from cold-water fishes like Salmon and tauna. Flaxseed oil can also provide Omega-3 fatty acids.

    Include amino acid tryptophan as your dietary supplement so as to control your temper and mood swings and get rid of anxiety. Amino acid tryptophan can stir up levels of serotonin in you helping you overcome anxiety and depression.

    Your dietary supplements also include Gamma-amino butyric acid (GABA) which can help you overcome anxiety and stress besides controlling your temper.

    Also take Tyrosine which can work as a natural stimulant and help you overcome mood swings.
