iontophoresisThe use of various technologies is being done since many years for treating most of the problems related to the skin. A huge range of disease especially related to skin is affecting these days and people are finding various difficulties to tackle them.

The use of currents for treating skin problems is in practice since many years as it has been found through statistics that skin specialists are using them for around 70years. They use galvanic currents for this purpose. It is done by activating the affect portion of the skin by the use of negative currents. After this activation they are given a gentle massage over that particular area which is given smoothness and helps in its refreshed appearance with a positive charge. Certainly this procedure is not found to be effective and is said to be an old method of iontophoresis. To perform the procedure correctly the therapist has to understand the effect of both the charges properly.

Basically Iontophoresis is a process of treating the affected skin with the use of currents. In this the charged ions which are generally called as medicinal ions are introduced inside the tissues which have electric current and that too with the like charges. It is really strange but is true that for producing these currents there are real or direct generators which are brought into use. The current which is produced is called as ion transfer effect and the generators are called galvanic generators which have both the poles the positive and the negative one.

But the use of this treatment solely depends on the medical conditions of the patient and so it is not recommended for any type of skin problem. It even depends on the type of skin or even on the skin texture of the person who is to be given this treatment. The dermatologist can judge the conditions and can decide whether the patient should be treated through this or not.

What is the effect of the treatment inside the patient’s body after it gets over?

Microscopic holes occur in the outermost covering of the skin which is called as stratum corneum. This effect is due to the micro currents.

The micro currents acts as an activating forces and results in activating the ingredients and then directing them towards the area specified for providing energy. The vital components are almost merging up and work together for revitalizing the skin from within.

There is a fluid kind of substance inside the body that also helps in removing the wrinkles and fine lines which are generally present on the face due to the badly affecting skin problems. This fluid is never moving freely inside the body but is similar to the water and its movement which is there inside the body.

Once the skin gets proper treatment it should be given proper attention as per the doctor’s advice to minimize the harmful side effects of the treatment.

The latest advancement in the procedure of Iontophoresis are being used very commonly as they are much more superior and problem free than the tradition ways. These are devices having microcurrent which results in inproving the circulation of the blood, colagen and the level of the ATP etc. It is often seen in some cases actualy most of the cases that the treatment has be be repeated more than one time for achieving desired result.

An addition could be given to this feaure by providing ionization of the elastin and along with quality collagen which can results in providing smoothness to the feet which are generaly hard. All this can be compiled up in a single treatment to make this possible. This treatmetn is helpful in treating the problem of the skin which is especially related to the occerance of gaps between the skin which can be seen in the form of lines and wrinkles. This aging effect can be properly reduced.
