injectable-fillersThe growth and development of our body and the skin depends on various proteins and vitamins. Natural proteins are required for the proper structure of our skin. They act as supporters for it. These essential proteins are generally thick but it becomes problematic if they start getting thinner. The common reason behind this problem is pollution, extreme exposure to the sun, excessive smoking and hereditary etc. The problem gets chronic sometimes in cases where people are frequently changing their lifestyle or are prone to other health related issues.

Most of the skin problems have some or the other ways of treatment and so is the case with this. Injectable fillers are the cure for this problem.

Injectable fillers, as the name suggests they are nothing but a kind of filling material for the skin which is used for filling sculpts and fine lines of the skin. This is done for filling the wrinkles which are highlighted on the cheeks and even the line which are there on the chin, under the eyes, lips.  Problems like scars and marks also get reduced due to the proper practice of this treatment. It comes into the category of non surgical methods. The substance is inserted inside the skin with the use of an injection. There are no anaesthetics required along with the use of the injection.

Fillers are available in different forms and varieties which should be used according to the condition of the person. It’s quite possible that your doctor might advice you to heal the problem by combining two injectable filler and using them.

Another thing which might be required before the selection of the filler is a small skin test. This test is not done in all the cases. It might be required in some cases only again depending upon the condition, severity and type of the problem. It’s possible that your doctor wants to confirm whether you are suffering from some other kind of infection or no. This is because in cases where the patient is suffering from some sort of allergy or infection then either the doctor would not suggest you to undergo this treatment or might have to use some specific kind of fillers for treating the problem. There would be a session of around 40-45minutes and it might be repeated for 2-3 times for increasing its benefits. It is found in some cases that the sessions are repeated after a gap of around 1 week and usually this repetition is increased or decreased in accordance with the problem.

A thin needle is used for injecting the fillers and necessary substances almost under the layer of the skin where the portion is affected. For checking the time span some numbering agent might be used. This is essential that the procedure has to run for some specific time only so it should not be continued for a longer period of time to avoid over dosage.

The areas where the treatment of injectable fillers is used are the lines on forehead, lip lines, laugher lines, wrinkles, acne scaring, scaring due to previous injuries, lines below the eyebrows, lines running between the nose and the mouth and the fine lines that are running in the downward movement from the mouth corners. It is often seen that there is no such pain or swelling after the treatment so many times the patient gets back to his normal schedules right after it.

In cases where the problem is not so chronic the doctor may advice the person to undergo temporary sessions of this treatment. These sessions are a kind of test sessions just to check whether the person is getting affected or benefited with it or not. After this satisfaction that the treatment is correct for the person these temporary sessions are converted into permanent ones which give beneficial results to the patient.

Minor side effects are generally detected after the treatment gets ended like minor swelling around the area, signs of redness and bruising etc. These are minimal and start disappearing within few days.
