    Improve Your Digestive Power

    tips-for-good-digestionDo you remember when you had severe digestive problems? Whatever you ate was bound to create some problems? You must have suffered from indigestion, and acidity. With severe stomach aches you must have realized how difficult it is to continue with the daily chores if your stomach is not in the right condition. Many have suffered much but the fact is that some have also developed a very natural way to counter these without medicines except in critical situations.

    Prevention is better than Cure:

    Taking preventive measures is always advisable in every walks of our life. There is nothing better than this advice. It is always better to prevent indigestion and stomach problems than to create and treat it with medicines. Have those foods with which you are comfortable. It differs from person to person and you may not be comfortable with a certain kind of food but your friend may be.  So be cautious. You may also consult your health practitioner in case you have any problems in selecting your diets.

    Chew the Food Properly:

    Again it is extremely necessary to chew the food properly before swallowing. It helps in better digestion of the food. You should make the best use of your teeth now. Drinking adequate water is very much desirable.  Water is extremely essential for our body, but at the same time it is extremely obstructive to the process of digestion if you have the habit of drinking a lot of water while eating. Try to have water after sometime in case of heavy meals.

    Relaxation:

    Food requires time for digestion and you should take at least an hour rest after heavy meals. Never go for a bath or for a workout just after having heavy meals. It may tell upon your health.

    Fruits:

    It is always better to have fruits in the empty stomach. They get digested quickly whereas proteins, carbohydrates take much longer time to break down. Having fruit after such meals may delay the digestive process.
