In a kitchen we use different types of utensils - some are made of ceramics, some are of plain glass, some others are made of steel and few with plastic. You cannot give all of them the same treatment. Again few utensils are used only to serve food.
Naturally they get less stain. But the utensils that are used for cooking purpose or for the baking get stains that are hard to remove. First sort your utensils according to their materials and use. Then apply separate technique for them.
It is tough to clean the utensils that are used for cooking or baking. So soak them into slightly warm water and keep them aside. First wash those utensils that are used for serving food. Take liquid dish-washing soap in a little container and then with the help of a sponge clean these utensils. As these things like cup, glass, spoon, etc. touches your mouth, they should be washed with very hot water.
Check if there is any stain of lipstick or any thing on the brim of your cup. Check that dishes are grease and stain free. After cleaning these properly use a clean soft cloth to dry them. Store them in a covered and safe area, free from insects and pests. Now clean the dirty pans. Take a comparatively hard scrubber, take little amount of soap and scrub off the stains.
Whenever you wash your utensils, make sure that you have washed every part of it. Do not forget to wash the bottom of the plates or the handle of the spoon and fork thinking that they are clean. When you start cleaning process, make sure that you have removed all the left over foods in the waste bin.
The sponge and brushes with which you wash utensils grow bacteria easily. So take special care of them. After washing your utensils wash them with plain clean water properly; squeeze the excess water and make them dry before further use. The cloth with which you wash your utensils should be boiled for 10 minutes everyday to make them sterilized.
