Depression is the result of modern isolated life. Depression leaves shocking effect on our complete mind and body. A person in depression does not enjoy any relationship. Friends or family, everything becomes meaningless to him.

4. Sleep well
Lack of sleep or its improper pattern is also responsible for depression. Just as body needs serotonin to be fully energetic and active, in the same way, body needs melatonin to get away from sleep. If during day time body produces melatonin, one can feel sleepy dull and irritable. When our body produces wrong hormones at wrong time it causes depression. This imbalance causes due to lack of sleep, lack of access to sunlight, trauma stress and some other factors.
Develop good sleeping habits. Develop a routine. Go to bed every night same time and little early and wake up early and go out in the sun light. Also try to socialize yourself, make new friends.
