How To Sustain A Puppy
It is easy to have a pet but not that easy to sustain it. But if one adopts certain yardsticks, it may be possible to sustain a puppy as a loving and caring creature. You have to make good use of your sentiments, emotions and creativity. Once the puppy is convinced of your sincerity towards it, it would reciprocate.
To show sincerity towards it, you have to mingle with it like with any other member of your family. You have to play with and care for it like a member of your family. In case you are lucky like my father, maybe due to coincidence you pass through the life, of an episode through which my father passed once.
Happened like this that once a puppy started having rounds of our street. During nights it used go give weeping sounds as if it has lost its parents. It would never tease anybody, never bite anybody.
Out of sheer sympathy, my father often offered it biscuits, but never brought it home because he never wanted so. Once, early morning we suddenly heard peculiar painfully cries of the puppy. My father went running outside the house and saw a bone entangled in the mouth of the puppy. Due to fear, no passerby took the risk of helping the puppy.
Suddenly with one hand my father caught the puppy’s jaws. Shaking the jaws a little up and down and making space for the bone to get loose, with the other hand my father just took out the bone from the puppy’s mouth. We were very surprised happy by my father’s act of bravery and compassion.
Then what, the puppy just started jumping over and above my father conveying its sense of gratitude. Till the time we left the house, the puppy remained loyal and affectionate to our whole family.
So I shall be truthful to say that sustaining a puppy may be easy if love and affection are mixed with the worldly necessities while nurturing it.
