How To Remove Makeup?
Removing makeup before going to bed is much more important than doing it next morning. Leaving the makeup overnight may lead to rough, unclean and tightened skin. Cleaning is the first step towards healthy skin. Hence, there is no shortcut to remove your makeup before sleeping.
Procedure to remove makeup:
The first step involves cleaning up the entire face using a diluted makeup removing cream. If you don’t have a makeup removing cream, you may use a simple moisturizer or cream. Apply it all over of face and wipe it with a cotton ball or tissue. This will clean off the foundation and powder.
The next step is to remove lipstick. Vaseline is the best lipstick remover no matter how much waterproof the lipstick is. Apply Vaseline over your lips and rub them. Clean up with a tissue.
Now comes the turn of your eyes. Eye makeup has to be removed very gently as it’s the most sensitive part. It can be removed by using an eye-makeup remover or a moisturizer. Wipe out the cream or moisturizer with tissue.
Now when you have removed foundation, powder, lipstick and eye makeup using different lotions/creams, the next step involves washing away these creams from your face. Wash your face gently with a face-wash or a foaming soap to clean your face.
Everything is done now. All you need to do is pat your face dry and apply a night cream before going to sleep to overcome the dryness that may have occurred at any time while removing the makeup.
Points to remember:
Never wash your face in the beginning while removing your makeup. Makeup will not be removed properly and your skin may dry.
Don’t rub the creams or moisturizers harshly to remove the makeup as it may damage your skin and lead to wrinkles.
You can use baby oil also to remove eye makeup.
