There are times when the skin starts to bulge under the skin, this uneven skin bumps is known as cellulite. One of the easiest ways to get rid of cellulite is to follow a healthy diet and an exercise regime regularly. There are researchers who believe that one needs to detoxify the body in order to get rid of cellulite. It has to be kept in mind that while following the detoxification regime, one has to limit the intake of caffeine and nicotine.

    Drinking lot of water can be very effective in curing cellulite, eating foods like soya, blueberries and nuts is very useful in treating cellulite. In addition to these things the diet should contain nutrients like glucosamine, Vitamin B and essential fatty acids. It has been known that onions can also prove to be very effective in reducing cellulite. It is believed that onion can be a very good diuretic and help in draining the excessive water from the body.

    One has to remember to lower the intake of the processed foods in their diet as these are very difficult to digest. It is sometimes advised that one should take a supplement of a multi vitamin along with having at least seven to eight glasses of water everyday.

    Exercises can also be very useful in eliminating cellulite from the body. One has to remember to do some special exercises that will target the most effected areas of the body. One of the most beneficial exercise regime include cycling, climbing stairs, yoga or doing pilates. These will stretch the muscles and help in smoothing of the dimple appearance. One of the best regimes is a combination of cardio and strength training that can help to metabolise the food easily. If you are new to an exercise regime then start with a slow walk and then go up to jogging. Just keep in mind that you have to follow an exercise regime for at least half an hour everyday.

    Regular massage of the affected area helps in improving the circulation in the body, which helps in breaking the fat. Massage of the affected area can be done with a body wash or an loofah while having a bath. It is believed that the intense massages can put pressure on the deep tissue and helps to flatten the cell deposits, which form cellulite. One has to always keep in mind that if there is an excessive pressure put on the affected area, it can lead to ruptured blood vessels.

    There are some body shaping contours available in the market especially for the thighs. There are a lot of practitioners who believe that wearing a panty hose regularly helps in the blood circulation that presses the fat further and helps in reducing the appearance of cellulite.

    There are a few body wraps that can be made at home and when applied to the body is very effective in treating cellulite. You can ground some coffee or seaweed to make some effective body wraps for cellulite. You have to spread the warm ground coffee on the affected area and wrap the area with moist seaweed. Then cover the area with a plastic wrap and keep it on for around half an hour and then unwrap and wash it off with a massage.

    There are a lot of other treatments as well, which help in reducing the appearance of cellulite. These include liposuction, endermology and mesotherapy in this treatment injections are inserted in the middle layer of the skin to eliminate the fat.

One should remember that a bath in a warm seaweed can re mineralize and then increase the blood circulation as well. This treatment is recommended to be used thrice a week. Remember that the exercise regime that you follow should not be very vigorous as this can at times affect the heart.
