How To Get Radiant Skin
There are some people who are naturally blessed with a clear and glowing complexion. The majority of us have to make efforts to maintain a healthy complexion. A bright and clear skin is not impossible to achieve though one may have to work hard at keeping it.
Here are a few tips to help you get a radiant complexion.
Cleaning is the first most important step to get a good skin. The skin is constantly exposed to harsh chemicals, pollution and UV rays from the sun. The accumulation of dirt and grime on our skin leads to clogging of skin pores. This makes it hard for the skin to breathe and easier for bacteria to thrive on our skin.
Clogging of pores even makes the skin appear dull and lifeless. The cleanser should be able to rid our skin of dirt and bacteria without wiping the skin off its essential oils. Hence the cleanser should be effective but mild. Wash your face with the cleanser twice a day. This will help remove dead skin cells as well. You can also visit a salon once in fifteen days for normal clean-up.
Exfoliation is an important step if you want your skin to remain free of blackheads and whiteheads. Use an apricot based scrub. This will help you get the shine back to your face without harming your skin. Scrubbing helps remove dead skin cells. These along with sebum and dirt accumulate in the skin pores leading to formation of ugly blackheads. If you scrub regularly you can keep blackheads at bay without much effort. Steam your face once a month as this will open the skin pores and get rid of blackheads.
Keep your face moisturized always. With advancing age your skin will lose its natural moisturizer leading to loss of elasticity and formation of wrinkles. Always use a good moisturizer for day use and apply a Vitamin E based night cream on your face before retiring to bed. A well moisturized skin will look fresh and young.
Indulge your skin once every fortnight with facial masks suited to your skin type. You need not visit a salon for this. There are many ingredients for a facial mask that you will find in your kitchen. All natural and plant based products are good for the skin so you may use them without fear.
