How to encourage your teen to earn during their holidays?
During holidays, teenager enjoy every moment. They relax as long as they want, they keep on playing unless they feel tired, they do funny things and they lead a complete liberal life because their parents too relaxes the rules and regulations during holidays.
But apart from enjoyment, the growing children should make use of their holidays must get engaged in some learning activities which will benefit them when they will begin their professional life.
Since teenagers require more money than small kids to fulfill their demands, their parents usually increase their pocket money slightly every year. But at this age, teens should learn how much hard work their parents do to earn.
Hence, you can encourage your teen to do some part-time job during his holidays so that he would not only learn too many things at work but would even earn certain amount which he can spend according to his wish.

Your teen will learn how to manage money
When your teen will get his first salary, he would certainly be the happiest person.
He might come to you and ask what he should do with his salary. First appreciate him and then tell him to spend that amount on necessary things because it is his hard earned money.
Ask him to spend some portion of his salary on his required items and to deposit the remaining amount in his bank account. This is how he will understand how to manage the money properly.
Once he will understand that money should not be wasted on unnecessary things, tell him how much he has learned from his job and how balanced minded he has become.
Tell your teen to enjoy his work
On the first day of his job, your teen might show hesitation in going to job and because he might lack confidence and even might be concerned about consequences if he would not be able to complete his work properly.
At this moment, boost his confidence level and tell him to take help of his seniors if he would face any problem at work.
Encourage him by telling that all the newcomers at job have to face this situation and they gradually become expert in their work.
More importantly, ask your teen to enjoy learning new things and not to get frustrated by failure but to take lesson and try not to repeat the same mistake again.
