Some lifestyle changes, dietary strategy and natural supplements can stabilize your diabetes. This can be made possible with natural cure.

    Lifestyle changes

    To keep your blood sugar level stabilized or to lower high blood sugar level, exercise is essential. Exercise can improve our insulin sensitivity. Aerobic exercise, swimming, walking or stretching muscles can increase our metabolic rate as well as insulin sensitivity.

    Stress Reduction

    Stress affects diabetes patients so much that their blood sugar level shoots up. Stress releases several energy mobilization hormones and glucose is transported into blood stream and hence blood sugar level increases and diabetic patients suffer from poor health. To eliminate stress, try deep breathing exercises. Practicing deep breathing exercises can remove stress level to a great extent. Other things which can reduce stress are listening music, interacting with people and practicing yoga among others.

    Restrict Smoking

    Avoid smoking if you are suffering from diabetes. The heart gets damaged, blood sugar level rises and one can develop atherosclerosis, blood circulation is effected and gives rise to many other complications like high blood pressure and risk of stroke.

    Diet Control

    The best way to lower diabetes risk is to eat right kind of food. Choosing right diet will help you improve your blood sugar level. You should have complete knowledge about which food to avoid and which food to limit. Your food must contain raw vegetables, lots of fruits and enough water (8 to10 glasses) per day. Eat fiber rich food such as bread, cereal and vegetables because fiber helps to eliminate the food from intestine and improves your digestion. Fiber contains chromium which controls blood sugar level. Make yogurt a part of your diet. Other foods which help lower blood sugar level are onion, garlic, lettuce, beans, and cucumber.
