homemade-hair-conditionerHomemade conditioners can be one of the best treatments you can get to pamper your tresses. These make the hair shiny and add volume to it as well. A homemade conditioner when rinsed well out of the hair can help in removing the extra build up from chemical shampoos and conditioners.

You can use one-fourth cup of vinegar along with one cup of water and use this as a final rinse after shampooing. This makes the hair shiny and soft. It also helps in removing the build up form from using the other chemical products.

Take one egg yolk and beat it till frothy, add one teaspoon of baby oil and beat again. Add this to one cup of water and massage this into the scalp thoroughly. Then rinse it well with lukewarm water. This will make the hair shiny.

You can make an avocado deep conditioner at home. Take half an avocado and remove the pulp from it. Then mix in around half a bottle of mayonnaise in it. Mix it well and then apply in the hair covering from the roots till the tips. Then keep a shower cap on for about 20 minutes. To get deep conditioning you can even wrap a warm towel on the head above the shower cap.

Take the pulp of one avocado and slowly add some coconut milk to it and make it into a smooth consistency of a hair conditioner. Starting with the scalp working towards the end. Keep it for about fifteen minutes and then rinse it off with a shampoo.

A jojoba oil and beer conditioner can really do wonders to your hair. The beer makes the hair shiny and puts volume in it. Mix one cup of warm beer with one teaspoon of jojoba oil. Massage it on your scalp and cover the hair as well. Keep it for some time and the shampoo your hair.

Baking soda can be a very good ingredient when you want to remove the excessive build up from your hair. Take some baking soda in a cup and rub it thoroughly into the scalp. Let it stay for half an hour and wash it with your shampoo. This will make the hair lighter and much cleaner.

Olive oil is known for its benefit. You can take two whole eggs and add four tablespoon of olive oil to it. Whisk it well and then thoroughly apply it on the hair. Wrap your hair with a plastic wrap and leave it for about 10minutes. Then rinse it well with some warm water.

You can make an excellent hair mask for your hair, which will make your hair bouncy and will give it extra conditioning making it softer and shinier. Blend together half a banana, ¼ of an avocado pulp and the same amount of cantaloupe. Add to this add one tablespoon wheat germ oil and one tablespoon of yogurt and blend it well. Apply this on the hair and leave it for fifteen minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.

Mayonnaise can be excellent conditioner for your hair. Apply around half cup of mayonnaise into your dry hair, the amount can vary cover your hair completely. Cover it with a shower cap or plastic bag for about 15 minutes and then rinse it thoroughly. If you want you can shampoo as usual.

You can also take a small jar of mayonnaise and half an avocado pulp in a bowl and smash the pulp well to mix it with the mayonnaise. Apply this on the hair right from the roots to the tip. Then place a shower cap for sometime for about 20 minutes. Then wash your hair with a shampoo and rinse it out well.

This conditioner is one the best. Soak around half cup of rose petals in some hot water for some time. Take half a mashed banana; this can be increased if you have longer hair, mix in one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of either coconut or olive oil. Blend all the indigents well and massage it well in the scalp and the hair. You can wrap a warm towel around it.

Boil some tealeaves in some water and then let it cool. Then strain the mixture and use it as a final rinse for your hair. You can even use beer as a final rinse. This helps in also adding bounce to your hair. You can even use a flat beer for this purpose. A final rinse of lemon juice mixed with water will also give the hair the much necessary shine that is needed.

I absolutely love the Made from Earth Peppermint conditioner. So far its my favorite one from all the organic lines I have tried. Made from Earth is completely natural – unlike other brands who may claim to be natural and/or organic (but somehow still manage to sneak the icky chemicals in) – so that alone makes this an awesome product for someone who’s concerned about what their beauty products are made from. After a few days of consistent use, my hair is softer and silkier than with any other product I’ve tried. The smell is a little strong, but fades to a nice subdued floral scent after the hair dries. I’ve gotten many compliments on my hair since I’ve gone back to using the Made from Earth conditioner. I’ve spent a few years trying out all the “natural” brands to find the perfect line for my hip length hair…again, of all those supposedly natural brands – Made from Earth seems to be the only one that really is purely natural, and on top of that, has been the best for my hair.
