Home Remedies For Acne
Acne is one of the most common diseases during the teenage period in human life. Although it is taken as a disease, it should be better referred to as a symptom. Since various medicines available in the market for acne have side effects, it is always desirable to find simple home remedies that have only a little side effect.
However, the fact to rejoice is that there are many options available when we talk about home remedies for acne. Some of the remedies for acne are as follows.
Oatmeal can be used as the healing agent in case of Acne. The cooked oatmeal can be applied on the affected areas for fifteen minutes. It will dry up the pus and liquid portion of the Acne and can be removed after 15 minutes.
Lemon juice and rose water mixed in the same amount can also be used as a remedy for Acne. Equal amounts of the both the ingredients should be taken on a cotton ball and applied on the pimples for half an hour. It should be cleanly washed after the due period of time. This serves as an effective treatment for severe as well as mild Acne.
Another natural way to act is to use avocado. The paste of avocado is mixed with water and applied to the acne. This action can be repeated several times a day. It provides an effective way to diminish the pimples and get rid of acne.
Another effective medicine for acne can be prepared from yeast and lemon juice. The mixture of 1 tablespoon of dried or fresh yeast with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice; can be applied on the acne spots until it hardens. The hardened portions could be peeled off or washed away later.
Alternately, one can use tea bags and basil leaves to diminish acne.2-3 tea bags and basil leaves should be boiled for 15-20 minutes. It should be boiled fully so that the tea and basil leaves are adequately mixed with each other and forms a gel like liquid. This can be applied on acne with a cotton ball.
Lemon juice and Apple cider vinegar also acts positively on acne. After cleaning the face, Lemon juice or Apple cider vinegar should be taken on a cotton ball and applied on the acne. This could be repeated for several days until the acne disappears.
Eggs can also be used for getting rid of acne. Soak a cotton ball in egg whites and apply on the affected areas. It should be left for hardening for a few hours and then washed away with clean water.
Moreover, toothpastes could also be used on the acne. However, toothpaste should not be applied on skin and care must be taken to apply it only on the spots of acne.
Take one peeled apple, half a cucumber 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of yogurt. With the help of a blender mix the ingredients well so that a gel is formed. This gel could be applied on face and left for half an hour. Later it could be washed off with warm water. This process can be continued for 10-15 days to get a positive result.
Make a paste by mixing Sandal wood and Neem powder in equal amounts with rose water. The solution should be in the form of paste. The paste should be applied to the face at night before sleeping and washed off the next morning. This should be repeated for a week to get rid of acne.
It should be borne in mind that while these home remedies are an effective way to get rid of Acne, it is always better to control and monitor other activities that have an influence on acne. For example one should eat cucumbers and carrots if an internal action against acne is desired. Moreover, one should take ample care to keep the skin clean so that acne cannot develop on it. With proper medication and activities individuals can easily get rid of acne.
