Home Made Facial Scrub Using Honey
Exfoliation or facial scrub is the best way to remove dead cells from the surface of your skin and bring a youthful look to your skin. So to brighten up your skin by including a facial scrub made with honey and other natural ingredients at home on your weekly skin care routine.
Honey Scrub
Make fine paste of 2 table spoon almonds and mix the paste with 1 table spoon honey and few drops of lemon juice. Apply the paste on your face and rub gently. Let it remain for 10 minutes and then wash with warm water.
Mixture of honey and olive oil works great as a facial scrub. Apply the mixture and leave it for 20 minutes on your face. Wash with warm water.
Peel an apple, make puree and mix the puree with 1 table spoon honey. Leave this mixture on your face for 15 minutes and rinse to get a glowing skin.
Make smooth paste of 3 tablespoons almond and mix the paste with 2 table spoon oatmeal, little milk and 2 tablespoon powdered rose petals. Apply the mixture on your face to get silky, soft and glowing skin.
Take 2 tablespoon gram flour, mix it with rose water and honey. Let the mixture remain on your face for 10 minutes and then wash.
To exfoliate your skin use wheat husk, adding milk and honey proportionately. Apply this thick paste on your face and neck. Rub the mixture gently in circular motion. After washing your face you will find a fresh glowing look.
Grind 2-3 teaspoons raw oats and mix the grinded oat with 2 tablespoons honey and 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to form a smooth mixture and add a drop of basil oil. Rub the mixture and allow it to dry. Wash the face after 10 minutes to discover a fresh and younger looking skin.
Younger people with problem skin should not exfoliate too often because over exfoliation can harm their skin. For ageing skin, exfoliation of the skin helps to increase the blood circulation and brings life to skin by removing dull and dry dead skin cells and invigorate the skin and help the skin to get rid of impurities. Exfoliating should be done maximum once a week or fortnightly.
