Home Made Chocolate Cake
An all time favorite dessert for all ages is the evergreen chocolate cake. Home made chocolate cake can be the best option for a party at home or just for the family on a Sunday.
Chocolate cake is a favorite among kids and the best way to make kids happy on their birthdays or any other time is by treating them to a home made chocolate cake!
Chocolate cake at home is easy to prepare in just half an hour time! All one needs is to have the ingredients most of which are available in the kitchen itself and a cake oven or a microwave oven.
The Ingredients:
1 and ½ cup all purpose flour
1 and ½ cup sugar
3/4th cup molten butter
2 tea spoons baking soda
2 table spoon baking powder
4 table spoons cocoa powder
2 eggs
3/4th cup milk
A pinch of salt
Chocolate sauce and dry fruits for topping
Preparation:
First mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt in the proper proportions in a big bowl. Make another mixture by heating butter in a frying pan to melt it and mix the sugar. It’s better to grind the sugar before mixing with butter to ensure homogeneity.
Once sugar is well mixed in the molten butter pour this mixture into the former mixture consisting of flour, cocoa powder and the rest. Mix the ingredients well. Break the eggs and pour into the existing mixture continuously stirring and making it consistent. Pour the milk at the end which will make the mixture quite fluid therefore keep mixing and stirring until bubbles form and all the ingredients have mixed properly to give a chocolate brown color.
Once the chocolate cake batter is ready leave it for around two hours for fermentation so that the cake can expand well. In the meantime chop out fine pieces of dry fruits like cashew nuts, almonds, walnuts, raisins etc. After two hours fermentation put the cake into the cake oven or the microwave oven.
In case of microwave oven pre heat the oven at forty degrees for ten minutes. After preheating put the chocolate cake batter at 180 degrees and set the timer at thirty five minutes. After thirty five minutes baking home made chocolate cake is ready! Once the cake cools decorate it with chocolate sauce and dry fruits topping.
