Lavender Oil is very beneficial for the body as it has many uses. It has a calming effect on those suffer from insomnia and hypertension. It also helps to clean the body and reduces inflammation and pain caused to the body.
There are different ways to use lavender oil. For those who are pregnant, massage the oil on the breasts to make them firm. You can mix the oil with any regular oil at home and massage it daily. This will also reduce the itching on the area which comes during pregnancy. If you are suffering from sunburn, you can mix a few drops of lavender oil with water and sprinkle it over your body.
You can also prevent skin irritation by mixing a few drops of lavender oil to soft water. If you are using tap water, boil it and then add the lavender oil to it. Another good oil which is full of medicinal properties is lemon oil. Correct use of lemon oil can help remove warts. Apply a few drops of lemon oil mixed with a little water on the wart and continue this for at least two months before you notice improvement. Add lemon oil into your bottle of shampoo and use it to get a shine in your hair.
This is very useful for people who have coloured or streaked their hair. Lemon oil also has antiseptic properties. For those suffering fever or colds, you can mix a few drops of lemon oil with some sunflower oil and apply it all over the body. wear your clothes and cover yourself with the blanket. Allow the oil to seep in.
