These days, most of the girls pick up their hair style from what their favourite stars do. Apart from that, one can also choose one style from various celebrities participating in various red carpet occasions or award giving ceremonies.
Apart from all these factors, short hairstyles are very much in fashion these days for the prom nights. As I have already said that no hairstyle can replace the long hair styles, so you can always go for long styles without worrying about anything.
