Drying: Towel Drying is one of the major reasons that can damage your hair. When your hairs are wet, there are most chances of getting them damaged. This is because they get tangled into the threads of towel and thus break. Rather than rubbing your hair, you should stroke your hair in the direction of their growth. Blow drying also leads to hair damage.
Hot water: Piping hot shower takes the essential oils from the scalp, leads to dryness and thus damages the hair. So, it’s better to take bath with Luke warm water.
Avoid Chemicals: You should avoid repetitive coloring of hair as they have chemicals in it. If you have to color your hair, it’s better to go to a stylist rather than to do it at home. Also use shampoos and conditioners that can cleanse your hair better.
Choose the right tools: Use a comb if you have curly hair. Never brush your hair when you hair are wet. You can comb your wet hair just to remove the tangles but that too with a wide-toothed comb.
Good Health: Good health also helps in having good hair as it give you healthy scalp and thus great looking hair. For this, you should drink lots of water, healthy diet and enough sleep.
Trimmed Hair: You should trim your hair regularly so as to make sure that the damaged hairs are gone. You should trim them every six weeks.
Avoid ponytail: Ponytail can cause hair damage as it pulls out the hair from the scalp. Also, tight hats or caps should be avoided because if they are worn long, it can damage your hair permanently.
