Getting Belted
Women have a variety of accessories to choose from. They can enhance their looks by simply using great accessories. Men are however not so lucky in the accessories department.
They hardly have much to choose from. One of the most important accessories for a man is his belt. So why not make the most of it. There are a variety of belts to choose from. Choosing a belt is however not as important as how you wear it. Every man must have in his collection a classic leather belt.
This is necessary for all formal occasions. You can choose from the calf skin belts or the snake skin or even the lizard skin. These belts are expensive but also a must have. The important thing about wearing a leather belt is that you must wear it with leather shoes.
The colour of your belt should match your shoes. A standard black belt is also an evergreen belt for all men. This can be worn with any pant or trouser, day or night. You can also choose a belt with a buckle. Most belts do come with buckles or clamps.
Make sure it is not too large, unless you wish to make a style statement. Go for the simple ones and you cannot go wrong. Cloth belts are a good option for those who want cheap belts. These go well with shorts and jeans and you can buy a couple of them and wear new ones as and when you want. Cloth belts compliment your casual appearance.
You can also try to get a coloured belt. But how you wear it is equally important. Never match your shoes with your coloured belt. Coloured belts must be worn only to add a touch of colour to your clothes. You should wear a belt not to keep your pants up but as an accessory to make you and your outfit look good.
When buying a belt make sure that the width is not broader than two inches. The belt should be a lot longer than your waist. Belts last very long so do invest in at least two expensive ones.
