Dark circles under the eyes rob the beauty out of a person’s face. They can be caused by many reasons. Today, there are many methods to tackle the problem of dark circles.
Follow a healthy diet. Deficiency of vitamins causes dark circles. A stressful life is also seen to be an agent causing dark circles. De-stress yourself by practicing yoga and meditation. Acupressure techniques, which are very effective in promoting a healthy blood circulation, are also practiced as a remedial measure for dark circles. Lack of sleep also causes dark circles. So getting a proper sleep of 7-8 hours daily is necessary.
Many home made face packs and treatments are found very effective in treating dark circles. Applying almond oil, peanut oil or chamomile oil under the eyes is seen to reduce dark circles. You can dab cotton with rose water and apply it to your eyes. Another method is to wrap ice cubes in towel and place it on your eyes for 10 minutes.Application of a mixture of tomato juice and lime juice and also keeping cucumber or potato rings in your eyes is also found to help.
Dark circles may be caused by allergies, toxins, hormonal imbalance or sometimes even kidney stones. Persistent dark circles which fail to go away should be giving proper and immediate medical care.
Dark circles are not an unsolvable problem and by following the above suggestions they can be effectively taken care of.
