Four Mouthwatering Preparations of Cabbage
Preparation:
Cut a cabbage into halves and separate their leaves. Boil water. Add salt and vinegar in it. Add cabbage leaves in it and keep the lid on.
After 20-30 minutes take out cabbage leaves and keep them on a strainer to strain the water. The cabbage leaves have already turned tender. Serve it along with bread and boiled egg.
Egg Cabbage
Preparation:
This is also a very easy preparation. To make it you need a cup of grated cabbage, chopped onion, chopped capsicum, chopped green chili and egg. Heat some oil in a pan. Fry all those chopped vegetables. Add cabbage at last. Stir to fry them. Pour an egg over them and stir very quickly and continuously with a spoon. Fry them properly and add a tablespoon of black pepper powder before serving it hot with bread.
Cabbage with Cauliflower
Preparation:
To make this preparation you need a small cabbage and a cauliflower. Chop the cabbage very finely. Separate those florets. Add few butter oil in a pan. Fry those chopped cabbage and add salt while frying. keep them aside. Now take a tablespoon of garlic paste and fry them in oil. Add florets, add salt and stir to cook them.
Add little amount of water to make them tender. Grate a mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle cheese over the cauliflowers. The cheese will turn sticky when they come in contact of heat. Then add those fried cabbage and sprinkle black pepper powder and oregano. Garnish them with chopped coriander leaves. Serve them hot.
Cabbage with Boneless Chicken
Preparation:
To make this preparation you need a cabbage, boneless chicken half of the weight of the cabbage, onion paste, garlic paste, ginger paste, one bay leaf, turmeric powder, red chili powder, whole cardamom, whole cloves and whole stick of cinnamon. Chopped tomato is needed to make the gravy. Now heat oil and add bay leaf in it.
Add whole cardamom, cinnamon and cloves. Fry them in low heat so that the whole oil will fragrant with the scents of the spices. Add 1 tablespoon onion paste, ginger and garlic paste ½ tablespoon each. Add fried tomato. Stir continuously and the tomato will melt down. Add boneless chicken pieces and add salt. Stir to cook. Add cabbage and mix all the things well. Keep he lid on till the things get tender and the thick gravy is made.
