    Foods For Acne

    Acne has become a very common problem. Not only adolescent people, even the people who have crossed the age of forty sometimes become fed up with the problem of acne.

    To get rid of this problem only a good hygiene is not enough. You have to follow a healthy and proper diet because acne has a close relation with nutrition. This article may help you to know what to eat and what not to eat when you have acne.

    Foods that contain saturated fats and trans fats make your skin oily and oily skin aggravate the problems of acne and pimples. So stay away from foods that are fried and contain high amount of oil and spices. Say complete no to junk foods like pizza, burger, fried chicken wings or drumsticks etc. They not only contain huge oil, they also contain large amount of meat.

    Animal protein that comes from meats, dairy and poultry, may aggravate the problem. To get the essential fatty acid for your body better eat different types of fish, flaxseed or hempseed oil. Stay away from chocolate ice-cream, cake, pastries because they contain a great amount of cream and sugar.

    Consumption of milk products like cheese, cottage cheese in large amounts should be avoided. Excessive salt and salty foods such as chips, canned foods etc. are responsible for the problem of acne. Eating too much can also lead to this problem. So eat small amount at a time.

    To keep the situation under control, drink adequate water everyday. Water helps to flush out toxins from your body. Add foods that are high in fiber in your daily diet. Fibrous foods help to clean colon. Eat plenty of lime or lemon. Citrus foods help to control oil secretion in your body. In the morning take a cup of warm water. Squeeze a lemon and add a teaspoon of honey in it.

    Mix all the things and drink. This not only helps to clean the skin, it also helps to control obesity.  Eat plenty of fruits like banana, apple, apricot, cherries, etc. Counter your hunger with a great amount of green and leafy vegetables. They supply enough fluid and minerals to keep your skin healthy. Chew basil leaves on empty stomach every morning and you will get benefited soon.
