Fergie Talks Relationship With Josh Duhamel: ‘I Know I Can Count On My Man’
Despite being the lone female member of the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie holds her own on stage next to bandmates like Will.i.am.
Offstage, however, in the arms of her husband of less than a year, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” star Josh Duhamel, she melts.
“It’s funny, because at work I have to be a very strong, tough woman. But when I’m with him, I just turn on this baby girl voice because… he’s my big tall man,” Fergie told the August 2009 issue of Marie Clare magazine.
Fergie and Josh met on the set of his former NBC show “Las Vegas,” and she revealed their relationship, which led to a walk down the aisle back in January, has been everything she wanted and needed.
“I’ve been in a lot of relationships that were exciting but unhealthy, very Sid-and-Nancy-esque. I wanted somebody I could count on,” she said. “With all the craziness of this business, I know I can count on my man — and he knows he can count on me.”
