Does The Generation Gap Really Exist?
The whole planet debates on this very subject. They do not come to terms when they see that people from extreme ages are not agreeing on any single topic.
People from different generations fail to see from a common perspective and argue or disagree with their own justifications and set of logic for it. Is it the Generation Gap or something else? And if it is not the generation gap then what it is exactly…
The so called generation gap need to be looked from a wider perspective before it can actually be classified as the generation gap. We must understand that both are correct in their own way and none can be termed wrong.
One carries the experience while the other latest trends and knowledge. One is full of confidence to pass on verdict on anything for they have seen almost all the situation and the other is full of spirit, jest and energy to try things from a different angle.
On one hand, the experience is true and apt to fit and give result on any given situation and so can be said for the new knowledge, energy and eagerness to try a given situation, on the other hand. The results may not be guaranteed by the trials and attempts put by the new generation; however, it surely opens new doors and shows various other angles to complete one single job.
The knowledge developed by both the old and new generation was used and implemented by the new generation to get the same job done at a faster pace. Most of the TRIALS were done to explore knowledge by the old generation. The new generation just managed to get the TRIUMPHS.
The same way, there are many things on which the new generation is working to find newer things and its’ next generation would be able to get triumphs on the same. This does not mean that they would have a gap in their knowledge and the will to do a particular job.
When two individuals of the same age debate on a subject they tend to take their stand on it. This could be on the basis of their upbringing, knowledge and mental status. That doesn’t classify them on the basis of generation. So, there shouldn’t be any classification on the basis of generation when two individuals of extreme age groups debate on a subject.
