This is done by the use of a fine needle which is inserted in the capillaries. The effect is such that it produces current inside which helps in filling the damage of the capillaries. It helps to treat the problem of broken capillaries by draining the blood.
There is no assurance that a person might get perfectly fine as soon as the treatment of Diathermy gets over. Generally this does not happen and the person has to take some sessions repeatedly.
